We can Live Forever!
The world is a mysterious place, a majestic place, we all took birth here and we will surely die here. what if.. we found a way to stay alive for a very long time. let us know about the theory that me and my friend theorized when were back in high school.
"Energy is the key to staying alive, as long as we have it". The human body is made up of billions of cells, which makes humans multicellular organisms. in order to sustain life, these cells need Energy. and in order to make energy or produce the energy we need to consume food.
The human body is designed in such a way that it can sustain its life as long as we consume food. our primary goal as human being is not to chase our dreams but to eat food and procreate. well a human body is designed to take care of certain functions on its own to sustain life and flow of events. the flow of functions is as followed:
> Nutrition - food supplying system. (Digestion included)
> Respiration - The energy releasing system.
> Transportation - the circulatory system.
> Excretion - the waste disposal system.
> Coordination - the linking system.
> Reproduction - the generating system.
in order for all these Human Systems to keep working the core POWER SUPPLY UNIT which needs to supply energy to all of these systems and bodily Organs is our friend HEART.
Well heart simply does nothing but to supply blood to all the reachable parts of the body. what actually heart is doing by circulating blood? well its collecting de-oxygenated blood and pumps oxygenated blood to the body.
"Heart is a Myogenic Organ" which technically means it does not need mind coordination its simply a muscle tissue that operates on its own .. as long as it has the energy to do so.
The Idea or say the Theory which me and my friend came up is that if Heart is a Myogenic organ and it just needs energy to keep beating . what if.. we supply that energy forever.
which brings us back to square one. we need energy in order to power the cells in a human body . well all the living cells in human body consume energy in form of ATP- Adenosine-tri-phosphate. it is a basic energy molecule which every cell consumes as energy.
What if.. we can find a method to synthesize ATP artificially and with help of carbon nanotubes we supply this ATP to the heart , it can start beating on its own without food consumption and in order to make other body parts live we supply ATP directly through blood or glucose what ever.
as long as we can supply ATP the heart keeps beating under normal conditions .even after the person technically dies.(brain dead) we can keep his body alive with all the other organs fresh and working.
